    starting to get some seeds so will send some out by the end of the month :happydance:
    anybody else want some just pm me your details

    i tried nipping the top out of one of mine and i think,,,,, it thinks,,,,, it is a real bush, well impressed :dbgrtmb:

    i got totally side tracked when i was looking this plant up, went all round the world and ended up at seed suppliers and there is a purple one as well, i think i might order a packet grow them next year and keep on sharing the love
    (just need to find the supplier again now) ha ha ha

      Try Chiltern seeds they do loads of exotic / uncommon seeds.

      It is lovely! A really healthy looking plant too. Having never seen anything like it, I googled red balsam and found this:-

      30 FRESH BALSAM IMPATIENS RED FLOWER PLANT SEEDS/GARDEN | eBay

      They have other colours as well. I tried some balsam impatiens in the garden a few years back, got them to flowering size, but nothing like yours, and they hated rain, flowers went all soggy.

        OMG
        i have just been on ebay and there are LOADS of different colours, each one nicer than the last
        looks like i will be placing lots of orders,
        if they grow like the ones i, have my house is going to be a RIOT of colour in a couple of months
        i never thought of looking on ebay, nice tip

          good news
          getting seeds from my plants now so will post them soon to people who have pm'd me with their details

          i have ordered and received a pack of mixed seeds, so i will put some of them in as well red purple and white (lucky dip)

          i have just planted some of the mixed seeds today, so when they have flowered i will have MORE seeds, so next year i will know what colour i am planting :D

            I sowed the seed so kindly recieved from Dawn :love30: :thankyou: and I have 100% germination in just 4 or 5 days :thumb:

            Can't wait to see how they grow now :thumb:

            how are your seedlings going people, mine are about 6inches and looking very heathly, they are in the polytunnel at the moment and thriving
            i cant wait to see the new colours:party:

              Hi Dawn, I've just read this post...took a while to get to the start but the picture was well worth it :D What a stunning plant! I've never seen anything like that before! I'm always looking for some colour in my room...I don't suppose you still have a few seeds knocking around :heehee: ?
