what do you all think? ive not bought a paper for yrs with watching bbc news,internet russian tv news channel(my fav) news ive had no need to ..
i had a feeling it was happening but i doubt there would be i could do about it if i wanted to im pretty peeved to hear the levels they have stooped to for info thou and it doesnt make me feel nice knowing that ive been glued to certain stories and not really thinking how they gained that info,hugh grant is on question time tonight,i cant wait to see it after the him being on the news last night stitching that reporter up x

Weren't they just listening to anyone's convos that they could incase something interesting was said? Apparently they did it to 10,000 people, or something, including the families of 7/7 victims..

 

They would have found some very interesting stuff if they had been tapping my phone, involving potatoes, fish and badgers :WINK1:

In the office we've just been watching David Cameron sweating his way through his press conference about Murdoch, NOTW, Andy Coulson and Rebekah Brooks. He could not have looked more uncomfortable. Some of the questioning was brutal.

He's in real trouble.

Would love to know what his blood pressure was for those 15 mins.

In the conference, Cameron revealed Coulson passed a background check and gave him cast iron assurances. And yet as I write this Couslon is sitting in a police questions answering questions about being a dead eyed liar.


Cameron has just claimed he didnt know Coulson was dirty; yet this week Alan Rusbridger Editor of the Guardian, has made it known that 4 years ago when Andy Coulson was selected as the new Conservative Director of Communications, Rusbridger himself went to see Cameron's Private Secretary to let him know about the phone hacking and illegal activity at the NOTW implicating Coulson directly.

Cameron went ahead and appointed him.

Again, after the election Rusbridger went to Clegg and showed him evidence of Coulson's complicity with phone hacking, police payoffs and buying off people suing the NOTW.

They didnt listen, and the coalition went into power with Coulson at their side.

As well as employing Coulson for four years, Cameron lives up the road from Rebekah Brooks in Chipping Norton and he and Samantha are great friends with her; its not just that they went to her wedding, they genuinely all do hang out together.

Cameron was warned repeatedly about the company he was keeping. And now he's sweating like a fat lass outside a bakery.

When I was a small lad (not a teenager )an old man told me never to have anything to do with either lawyers or the police, one lot were liars and the other crooked and evil, he did not say which was which and I was too young to ask at the time!

Well, Andy Coulson has officially been arrested.

Clive Goodman has been re-arrested too- he has already been to jail over hacking the phones of Princes William and Harry.

And at this very moment the Daily Star offices are being raided by the police.

 

Melinda, in my considered opinion Cameron is what's commonly known as a bit of a plonker.

Makka-Bakka, my stepson has gone to the dark side and is now training to be a lawyer. So that puts paid to all my 'first against the wall come the revolution' jokes.

Unfortunately for Cameron, 'plonker' doesnt quite cover it.

Among his Chipping Norton friends is PR guru Matthew Freud who is married to... Rupert Murdoch’s daughter Elisabeth.

Cameron is up to his neck in this, irrevocably damaged.


I hear because NOTW had a stringer office in Los Angeles, their federal justice system is keeping a very close eye on what happens here. If NOTW were hacking US celebrities/ citizens, this mess is going to get a whole lot bigger.
