Potatoes woo hoo !!

    Even though huge black sluge came overnight a week or ao ago, and stripped my potatoes growing in the potato bags, I tipped tone out yesterday and and was delighted to find I still had spuds !!

      Sausage and mash for tea tonight !! :)
      These were not seed potatoes .... I always buy Vivaldi potatoes from Sainsbury's as they are lower in carbs .... so this year I just let a few sprout a bit and that was that ! Very tasty and didn't really cost me anything as I even used last year's home made compost to keep building them up inside the sacks !

        excellent. I cant get over the difference in taste between homegrown and shop bought. I'm a complete convert, even with my blight anxiety :)
