It depends on the variety. Mine are a baby corn variety and will have about 10 per plant (there are about 6 on each at the moment). We haven't grown these before and they have certainly shot up quickly. They're over 7ft high already

Jeremy was asked to leave in 1963. Nearly all the versions of the song that you can find have omitted the last verse, which together with the B side of the record (Jo'burg Talking Blues) was the main reason for his speedy exit.

When he returned to England he became popular for writing songs on a satirical TV show (after the closure of the hit West End show 'Wait a Minnim'). One of the songs he wrote was called 'Jobsworth' which was a word he invented and it became part of the language.
