My 13 year old daughter has bought some doves today. Just wondering if anyone else keeps doves?

No, but I talk to them & the wood pidgeons around the plot. They sometimes talk back.

Tempted to build a dovecote, but the farmer behind me would probably just eat them.

They are white ones. We've got an assortment of bantams and other pets so the collection is growing. Hmmmm I'm sure they would love a Dovecot like Armandii's but Hubby has 'converted' a small shed. They have settled down for the night and I'm hoping all will be well when we go up there in the morning!
