Thanks John , I didn't know you could get C. Tropicana in different leaf colours. I grew red Tropicana from seed this year. I will put a pic on the Canna thread , with my usual "what do I do now ? " questions.

When I get back to my proper PC I'll do the same on the canna thread. I only bought 3 pots at £5.99 each and split them up straight away, ending up with 6 very strong looking plants.

Lovely, John. I went past a garden the other day which had an unusual twist on the jungle theme. The owner had hung a large collection of toy monkeys in his weeping willow!

:) well I guess you are associating monkeys with me because of my avatar (hopefully not the content of my posts). Its not bad idea though, I've always wanted a koala so maybe some of those :sunny:

Completely off-topic, but recently an old work colleague was telling me how much he missed a former girlfriend. I waited for all the glowing details. 'She was lovely,' he said. I used to call her ... 'Squidface'.

Doesn't look very pretty I know. Lesson learnt is that next winter I'll spend a bit of time making the protection look a bit more presentable :sunny:

Oh dear, John, you must feel rather sick after all your work and hopefully some of them WILL recover. :love30:

but ... it's still beautiful in the snow ... :yess:
