I have one like that - just appeared in the garden and kept sneaking in to eat all my cat's food. He was an entire tom and since he had two (you know whats) I called him TomTom! But soon after moving in with me, he no longer had two! Guess I should have renamed him "ItIt" since he is no longer officially a tom but an 'it'! :heehee:

Daisees, I don't think you'll have to worry about any other toms sneaking around to pinch food. Word will have got around of the terrible fate which awaits the unwary ...

If it brings back a human being instead of a rabbit next time, it's name is definitely Bagheera:D

i've just googled that, ha ha. Its not that big, just about the size of a cocker spaniel.

Rabbit was great, he liked sharing that. Not sure what he did with the head though ?

Better think of a name for him then. Actually, not sure if its a he or she yet.

Oh my!!, Captain Carrot, if you've only just clicked on who Bagheera is, I'm definitely not going on safari with you:D:what: I'm still not sure what's walked through your door and has adopted you, but I would advise that you carry a chair and whip when it comes into the room.............just in case:heehee::oopss::runhills::runhills::runhills:

I very much doubt it. He was inordinately scared of everything and still has panic attacks when I have to take him for a car ride - his paw pads run with perspiration. My neighbour and I are of the opinion that, given how he just suddenly appeared one day, he was dumped out of a car and left. Maybe because he was entire and sprayed in the house.

Our suspicions were pretty much confirmed when, having got home with him from the vet one day, I opened the car door at the gate and let him out then drove off to the shops. I was gone about 20 mins and when I returned, my neighbour was sitting on the pavement with him where I had left him. She said he had been crying loudly and pitifully ever since I'd driven off, so much so that she couldn't get distract him and he wouldn't be comforted.

I was horrified and amazed. Every night he sits in the middle of that road (we are a close and have almost no traffic) and spends most of the night out and about inspecting his territory so I know it wasn't that he felt lost. When I got him indoors, he spent ages pressed right up against me like he was superglued to my thigh!

I would add that this cat was probably about 6 years old (now about 14) when I got him and weighs about 18lbs! This is him on the right - the cat on the left is a normal size 8lb cat!

That's 3 nice looking cats you have there, Daisees, [well, there's one there big enough for two:heehee::D]. It's funny how you get adopted by cats and how close they get to you. I reckon you're lucky, Daisees:dancy:
