And so far no rain at all today, despite it being forecast. Well, that's in my bit. Pooley Bridge is 12 miles away; it could be pouring there! Hope you have a great weekend, anyway, Harry.

Damp, cloudy, no sun, but warm. There's loads of Bees and Hover Flies buzzing and flying around at the moment, maybe a few more than usual. They've promised more rain for tonight before a turn in the weather.

How's the weather where you are, Scotkat.:D

Well... no rain in the Vale today but very grey and chilly.
Iv`e booked a sunny day for tomorrow as I would like to get over to Elvington airfield to see the very large model display.
Knowing my luck there will be a hurricane......

Thanks Lorna the family had a lovely weekend camping at Pooley Bridge. A very pretty corner of the country :o The camp site was very muddy due to all the rain , but luckily it only seemed to rain at night  Every item of clothing we took has several large muddy spaniel paw prints on it , all over my car seats as well , you can't fall out with her though :D When Mrs H went for a shower at 7 am , Maya the cocker used to snuggle onto the air mattress with me , for a bonding half hour, you can't buy moments like that !! :doggysmooze::doggysmooze::doggysmooze:

Glad you had a good time and that the rain didn't spoil it. We had rather more rain than you, 12 miles away, but most of it did fall at night, as you say. Ullswater is my favourite big lake (and Buttermere my favourite smaller lake) and I'm sure Maya loved it too!
