    Hiya Steve.

A fabulous looking harvest there :) Golden French Beans, never tried those. Do they have any merit over 'regular' French Beans?

    Cheers...Freddy.

I've no idea at this point Freddy, I've yet to taste/eat them. The variety is "Kentucky wonder wax" a climbing bean and its been a little behind our other dwarf beans in terms of harvest by around a fortnight..first picking today.

    Hiya Steve.

So, how were the beans? I noticed you say your are growing Sungella, can you say how they compare to Sungold? Do they still retain that wonderful flavour?

    Cheers...Freddy.

The beans where/are delightful and I'd recommend them anytime.

The Sungella toms, being a hybrid of Sungold are quite sweet, a little less so than the Sungold with a good balanced acidity for that great tomato flavour.

I'll definately be growing both the Sungella toms and the Kentucky wonder wax beans again next year.

Hi again Steve, a nice mixed bag there :)

Just one more thing about Sungella, would you say they are big enough to be considered a 'slicing' tomato?

      Cheers...Freddy.

Well yes and no, the biggest has been about 2 inches which would slice nicely...the rest have been between sungold size and the 2 inches max. But I would slice cherry toms for a sandwich.

      Steve...:)
