Think twice before buying from this supplier! I bought a Royal Red Buddleja (with smaller leaves than most buddlejas) online in the spring which turned out to be a box-standard purple buddleja when it flowered.

I have been emailing them to express my dissatisfaction but they do not appear concerned that they sent me a plant I did not order. They have not even had the decency to reply to my last two emails!

This is one of the problems when ordering from On-line suppliers who have no postal address. Trying to rectify the problem is sometime nigh on impossible. I do buy plants on line but only from those that have a postal address. That way I can go and harass them at the Nursery if I can't get a solution by e-mail or phone.

Same with me Gardening Express I would never buy from them again, you have to raise a ticket number to ask a question and the answer you get back doesnt relate to what you asked :DOH::DOH:

Packing of plants is shocking I had a plant arrive in a pot with a bit of plastic wrapped round it :wallbang::wallbang::wallbang:

Hi Slangley, thanks for the warning, I have not used them, but as they are in Bridgenorth why not send them a letter Recorded delivery or phone them & get an answer proper.? I hope you do get some customer satisfaction..

Spruce I think you are the 4th person this year who I have heard complain about Gardening Express, I have only used them once but all was OK for me...

I, too, have had trouble with this supplier. I ordered 2 clematis "Broughton star" from them last autumn. They sent tiny plants, barely alive, in December which I kept in the greenhouse since they would not survive outdoors in winter. This spring there is not sign of life. I have emailed them 3 times, but they have not had the courtesy to reply. I shall try the old-fashioned royal mail to try to get something out of them.

Beware of any company with - 'Direct' - 'Overseas' - 'Worldwide' - ' Euro' - etc., etc., in their title.
