Gemini, if I remember rightly, Ziggy is a Bowie fan. :)

I'm sure I'll be told if I'm wrong! :heehee:

Well the two Ziggy that I know, aside from HIM, are Ziggy Marley and Ziggy from Lazytown, the Icelandic tv program for children.
But I certainly feel inclined to ask the origin of the name...

:D I thought if I kept you all hanging on long enough i'd become the new Messiah :D

        ("Tell us oh Lord")

Sheal got it right, big Bowie fan. It was a nick name, which was fine untill I got a job with a tied cottage, the phone came thru the main switchboard & I had people asking for me under 2 different names, so to simplify things, I laid out £17-0-0 for a solicitors deed and now i'm just called Ziggy.

I didn't need a solicitors deed, in fact David Bowie is still David Jones, but you don't need paperwork if everyone knows you as the new name.

I just found it easier with banks & stuff.

The name Ziggy is a German name.. Siegfried is often shortened to it, but the bit I thought was interesting is it means "Victory Protection"... So is our Zig the GC protector then.? :D :heehee:
