I had hot, home made, salt beef in rye bread with mustard and have just finished making a Carbonnade Flamande for tomorrow night for ourselves and friends for when we all come back from the Chilli Festival.

Sunday night, had sauted lamb sausage with gently cooked wedges of tomato over pasta and a good red wine.

Monday-Breakfast, ham and eggs and corn bread. (found a nice recipe for corn bread I am happier with, baked it in a caste iron skillet with some duck fat to coat the skillet for added interest.

Monday --Lunch, made Salmone Pasta Salad, (See picture) made with Salmone, zucchine, fresh tomatoes, little garlic, spring onions, pasta, good olive oil, salt /pepper. Very easy to put together--yummy.

Monday--Dinner/supper---grilled beef sausages on a roll with mushroom sauce on top, and a simple salad. And a good beer.
    Apple pie for dessert.

Hey, not working today, Its Labor Day, so I can cook and do other stuff around the house. Have pots of left over Chili for Tuesday dinner, made past Friday. Working Tuesday.
