Unless every thing's already safely picked, check the forecast for hail showers as they can make a real mess of some outdoor veg.

If your runner beans aren't straight enough wrap them tightly in newspaper (The Telegraph may make them straight as poles :heehee:). Seriously, lay them diagonally across the corner of the newspaper and then roll it up tightly and put in the fridge.

Thank you all for the support:dbgrtmb:

Up & ready, veg mostly picked, cleaned & ready, caravan resembles a greengrocers.

Haven't had the entry ticket thingers in the post yet though:OUCH:

They judged the sheep next to the plot last night, 4 of them were found guilty. It was like a scene from River Cottage, am I the only person in Dorset not to have been on the programme?:(

Not looking good, having seen some of the competition:OUCH: Might get a commended in the Beetroot bit. Thought I had a good Rhubarb entry till someone plonked 3 sticks twice the size next to mine:DOH:

Hoping to get smallest possible cherry tomato prize:DOH:

Still, should be a good day, picking Miraflores up from Dorchester in the morning & have a Barbeque planned for lunchtime:dbgrtmb:
