Theres a weather warning out tonight for the London area, flash floods are forecast.

There was the most intense sunset tonight, wonder if it related to the impending storm.

Hopefully the weathermen will get it wrong again. Fingers cross.

Although my water butt could do with a top up.

Hang about!!! I've been going back and forth between the computer and the Chimnea on the patio where I burning the next door neighbours scrapped fence, and it suddenly dawned on me about the old saying "Red Sky at night, Shepherds delight. Red sky in the morning, Shepherds warning". Usually that holds true, but obviously not for tonight.:D

          Fantastic picture John :thumb:

.............but yet again people speak of the possibility of the impending arrival of some sort substance that I now only have a vague recolection of, something called RAIN ??? :dunno: :rolleyespink: :what:; apparently when collected it looks like the stuff that has nearly vanished from my rain butt!!! :help:

Please Lord :wub2:, or if it's easier - the 'weatherman' :D show some of the blue stuff over Derbyshire on your weather map :love30:

                Had some rain today.
                First in ages.
The kind the weather people these days call "useful rain".

Nothing on the scale predicted though.
I'd guess on about 6 mm
