Moles

    What is the most effective way of getting rid of moles please? :love30::love30::love30:

    I've caught em by taking a sod of earth out of the new run then waiting silently till they come to see what changed the air pressure.

    Pick em up quickly & put them in a metal bucket, keep your fingers away from the business end though.

    They are very soft.

    Haha, I remember me and my Grandad doing this years ago - never had much luck though, although we were both not the most patient people :D

    I believe another good way without killing them with traps is to sink a (glass) milk bottle into the ground so that the top is level with the top of the grass, the wind catching it makes a nasty noise in the tunnel and makes them go elsewhere.

    Hi Kapper

    A harrod Horticultural leaflet came through my door yesterday and i noticed they sell 'Anti Mole Bulbs' i haven't heard of them before therefore know nothing about them or how effective they are !
    may be worth a look on the 'interwebby thingy' for info ...
