I knew it was a big deal, but just the mention of Sunshine in Northumberland was enough to break the previous thread - Sorry Marley:love30::love30:

I have my giant Marigold (not sure if that's the real name, just really tall Marigold!) in a pot which I had put on top of a table we don't use anymore, & it's been blown over! Just a few broken stems, nothing major!

saw some headlines in a paper at tesco an hour ago warning that winds will shortly reach 60mph and winter will be bitter cold ... was headlines, but never read the whole article ....

they also said something about the cold hitting the UK sometime this month?

Apparently this weekend is set to be very windy and possibly getting worse at the beginning of next week!!

The reports seem to suggest that we're getting a stormy spell then some colder weather with the possibility of early autumn frosts before yet another colder winter....

But yet again I did read a different report that suggested that we might still get an Indian summer at the same time as the other guys were forecasting storms????? :rolleyespink:, what will be will be I say, we can't do anything about it....

Today anyway has been a lot better than yesterday, lighter winds, reasonably warm with odd sunny spells, just a couple of heavy showers late on..:thumb:

I've used this website a number of times to predict weather on our website for Open Air events we were organising.
We have been able to predict reasonably accurately 7 days before, and it updates daily.

UK weather forecast - Met Office

You can specify area, town and even specific Postcodes.
Give it a try and see how it goes.

Very warm and humid here this morning, with a light breeze, dry so far but the sky does look quite dark and moody....
