Well, it's grey day here in West Cheshire, thin grey low cloud, but if you look you can see patches of blue. There's very little breeze, and at 1205 pm the temperature is 52f.

Yes, you get a lot more wind than us in Cheshire. Cosmos, and snow and cold!! My brother flies two large flags at his Cottage which get shredded after a Winter up there, which just shows how fierce and strong the wind is. He also used to have a 3 week larder to cope when he got cut off by the huge snow falls and drifts that used to happen up there every year. That's changed now and while he gets snow it's nothing like it used to be. It's a beautiful area up there in Derbyshire but I'll stick for Cheshire.:D

Yes it can be quite windy although personally I don't live that high up. We have lots of rugged rolling hills, valleys etc so not quite as bad. Derbyshire is lovely, and it is lovely up into the peaks....but I know what you mean about the trees. I feel more connected with those so I like to be around them more so. It's generally the Leek- Buxton road that gets cut off round here. Two driving tests got cancelled due to snow....I was NOT happy at the time.

It's grey here too, with the odd break in the cloud every so often. 4c on the car when I went out this morning @ 7.30.

West Cheshire is under blue skies and plenty of Sun and there's a strong breeze with an edge to it. There's not a lot of clouds around, which leads me to think it might get cold tonight. It's 3.30pm and the temperature is 53f, but with the strong sharp breeze it feels colder.:D:coffee:

Clear blue skies here too, but not as warm as yesterday (even though it was supposed to be  :D), the breeze has had a definite chilly edge to it....

Also feeling like it may go cold tonight especially as the breeze is dropping off; currently 9.8 degrees (50f)

Well, I went to Shrewsbury in Shropshire today and the weather was overcast with plenty of dark grey cloud, breezy with temperatures of 66f, and it got slight brighter during the afternoon.:)

I'm now back in West Cheshire at 6.40 pm and it's getting dark. We still have the warm breeze with temperatures around the 59f to 60f.:D

Very mild here today with a strengthening breeze, overcast for the most part but the sun tried to come out this afternoon; topped out at 19 degrees today, currently 15..

Beautiful sunny day here, with a stiff breeze but still warm. In the garden this afternoon in a T-shirt, planting out wallflowers into soil which is still very dry and dusty. Lots of watering in needed.

Well, it's 1.10 pm with plenty of sunshine outside. There's lot's of hazy cloud and, though there's plenty of sun, the breeze is keeping the temperature to 57f. There is a forecast of rain coming from the South and the West so I'm to leave this computer and plant some Wallflowers, just like Trunky.:D
