But, no snow yet, Penny??? Cheshire may get snow on Friday.........if so, I'll send you some.:D:heehee:

The day started off at around 35f and then shot up to around 41f in the afternoon, but again felt colder. Every now and then there was a glimpse of blue sky but that was soon covered with grey cloud, and the cold wind was always there.:what::(:D Right now, at 9.20pm there's an outside temperature of 37f.:WINK1:

Pretty much windless today after yesterdays battering. A grey day, with the temperature at 2c and a smattering of snow on our MOUNTAIN Armandii! :heehee:

Yesterday was another sunny day and I managed to do three hours of mowing - grass looks good and leaves on compost heaps :dbgrtmb:

A bit breezy this morning but no rain although 'they' promised us some during the night.

The forecast for us for tomorrow and Saturday is windy and snowy but they haven't managed to get it right for weeks! :rolleyespink:

Why are lots of people so interested in old weather threads here on GC?

Yesterday I noticed 83 'Guests' viewing a previous 'what's your weather like thread, and a few minutes ago there were another 22 'Guests' viewing a 2008 GC weather thread:

Any ideas? - people hankering about what weather used to be like a few years ago perhaps? The old thread http://gardenerscorner.co.uk/forum/...ussion/17249-whats-your-weather-like-120.html

And there's now 72 Guests viewing that old thread rather than this one! Maybe we need to be posting more popular/interesting weather?

It started off well again today but went down hill around 2.00pm when it clouded over and then started to rain. It now looks like Cheshire has got a reprieve from the snow as the forecast is for it not to come too far North. It's now 8.33pm and the outside temperature is around 36f.:(
