Success growing perennials from seed

What success has everyone had this year?

Next year I want to try growing stuff that will last for years (I hope) and don't know where to start..

I was thinking about Hostas, because I wanted to buy some of them, anyway, and they look just as nice when they're not flowering as they do when they are...

I love growing from seed Kyle especially perennials, did grow all my hanging baskets plants from seed to this year, we had to do a 3rd of an acre garden from scratch so it was a case of cuttings and seeds, this year I've grown thalictrums, salvias, iris chrysographs, sanguisorba, delphiniums, penstemon, lobelia tupa,hollyhock, mixed campanula, jasione,still don't know were they're all going,hostas are something I've never grown though so can't give any advice on how easy they are to germinate, but if there are any seeds you're looking for please ask, I grow a large selection of perennials and can't resist collecting seed:D.

 

I wouldn't mind a mixed selection of seeds, because my garden's not that huge.

Obviously if it's no trouble?
