What success has everyone had this year?

Next year I want to try growing stuff that will last for years (I hope) and don't know where to start..

I was thinking about Hostas, because I wanted to buy some of them, anyway, and they look just as nice when they're not flowering as they do when they are...

so your help is appreciated! Thanks! :D

I love growing from seed Kyle especially perennials, did grow all my hanging baskets plants from seed to this year, we had to do a 3rd of an acre garden from scratch so it was a case of cuttings and seeds, this year I've grown thalictrums, salvias, iris chrysographs, sanguisorba, delphiniums, penstemon, lobelia tupa, hollyhock, mixed campanula, jasione, still don't know were they're all going:heehee:,hostas are something I've never grown though so can't give any advice on how easy they are to germinate, but if there are any seeds you're looking for please ask, I grow a large selection of perennials and can't resist collecting seed:D.

I wouldn't mind a mixed selection of seeds, because my garden's not that huge.

    Obviously if it's no trouble?
