    We are currently looking after the daughters cats, whilst they enjoy themselves for 2 weeks.

    Has anyone else got the problem whereby every time you sit at the computer to do something, little paws want to walk across the keyboard.
    Not only that she decides she got to the wrong place and comes back the other way.:what::what:

    As above repeated until I get sick and power down.

    Then the damn thing isn't interested so goes to the window to watch the birds.

    Is this unusual or do all cats like to type??:scratch:

    I think OH has been training her!!!:what:

      My keyboard keeps getting covered in cat, which is not good, as i'm allergic to them. I think they like the warmth. Put a video of a cat meoiwing on, that usually make them run away.

          Reminds me of this::)

          One of my cats often sits blocking my view of the screen for attention. :mad:
          She also sits on my graphics tablet, dislodging the pen.
          Them I wonder why my mouse is behaving erratically.:scratch:
          (the pen on the tablet takes over from the mouse when in use. For anyone not familiar with tablets.)

            I like cats and dogs - we had a friend staying over with a dog for 15 days and it was no problem at all, we survived it quite well, - but hair around the place, smell and fleas are three aspects that I find it very hard to accept...

            My cat has a problem with my husband's laptop. As far as the cat is concerned, he is the only laptop around here and anything else is a usurper which must be defeated at all costs. When OH is working on the laptop, he lurks just to one side, ready to climb on board and make a complete pig's breakfast of everything whenever there is the slightest opportunity. The other night, some very fruity language was emanating from the front room. The cat had settled himself across the keyboard and trashed several hour's work in the process. Cat = 1. Computer = 0.

                I don't have a cat to help me type I have a 4 month old puppy who has to be in the chair with me and have a look to see what she can pinch off my desk top. she is currently tucked up behind me in my large swivel office chair. If she grows much bigger she is not going to be able to do that for much longer!

                  It's bad enough when the cat wants to take a wander across the keyboard but at least she can usually be persuaded to stretch out on my lap .... it's a whole different ball-game when our 6 year old retriever (who still thinks she's a 6 week old puppy) wants to do the same!

                    I have the two cats, Sally and Jenny. Jenny is the one who will sit or walk on the keyboard or, the favourite trick, sit in front of the Monitor so that you get a stiff neck trying to peer around her. :dunno::D
                    Sally will sit by you unnoticed and then when you're engrossed in something on the computer will reach up to tap you on the shoulder or arm until you have to give up.:D
