Just been out for a quick walk round our village with Mr Kandy and I saw my first one of the year, but Mr Kandy and the family we met and were walking with missed it apart from the wife who just saw the tail end as it fizzled out.The bit I saw was like a white coal and it had bits of a tail as it fell to earth but no sooner as I had shouted to everyone and they looked up it had burnt out:D

We didn't expect to start seeing them until later on in the evening when it is pitch dark outside but this one was in the twilight around 630ish when the sky is still in it's half light so they are definetley on their way:)

We live in the East Midlands:)

Jiffy they look contrails of aircraft that have flown over at some point,Meteors are so fast when they come that they streak across the sky and before you have had a chance to alert anyone you might be with of what they are they have usually fizzled out, they are that quick:D

Keep your eyes peeled and if you are lucky enough to see one don't forget to make a wish:thumbsup:

I'd wish that they dont fall on me, but near enough to find.

              Meteorites from around the world

Total cloud again tonight, winds blowing though, so i'll keep checking.
