    Shame about the wind Scotkat but would love to see the snow, really love it up in the highlands, won't be up there this year though :cry3: Got my hat out this morning for my walk it's seems to be that time again now!

    We are due to get our first frost on Thursday here in the South East. Help! I need to get all my tender plants in quick!

      Scotkat..........sorry, my other half says he's heard Scotland will have snow on low ground by the end of the week!

      I absolutely LOVE the snow! I get all giddy just looking at it. Last year I proudly make a snow-dalek and by my dad's car made a tragic snow-man run over scene over his work van.

      I was in Bergen for several months year or so again staying with my friend and it was still snowing when I left in April :happydance:

      I think the snow is very pretty if all you have to do is admire it. If you need to get anywhere or get anything done, it's a disaster. I speak as someone who got stranded by a sudden and heavy snowfall whilst on the way back from the supermarket last year. It took four hours and a snow shovel to make it home.

      Agreed I love the snow until I have to drive somewhere or use my annual leave up because I can't get into work:D But to be honest driving in the snow can be fun too, as long as no one else is about.
