A friend just brought round a particularly lethal bottle of home made hooch. Somehow or other we seem to have got through rather a lot of it. So I am out of action for a bit. I'd just like to take this opportunity to say .s.dlkeppp4p4j800UUUFNENENEL./\\\\\\\\KCBZAQ1

If you think that was lethal, you should come round & try a bottle of my "Old Man's Trousers combined Navy Rum & Wart Remover"

That'll take the hairs off your chest.

That's reminded me. Way back my mum gave me some 100 proof vodka that she'd 'acquired'. It was impossible to drink neat as it set your throat on fire!

I'm pretty much teetotal now, it probably cured me for life! :heehee:

the 3 strongest alcoholic drinks that I have ever had:

mampoer ... a south african alcohol that is made from fruit such as peaches and is traditionally double distilled ... similar to american 'moonshine' but more potent...

farmers have their own special recipes ...sometimes has more than 80% alcohol content .... tastes like petrol and is normally drunk neat

arak ... spent a few months as a student working in Israel at a kibbutz .... used to buy this stuff ... pour half a glass full and squeeze half an orange into it and swallow .... headache in a bottle (50-65% alcohol) ...

once met some austrialians there ... had some hash balls (hash mixed with sugar and melted in a tablespoon over a candle till it turns into syrup .... roll into a ball and let it cool, then suck the sweet) and then have a few glasses of Arak and orange juice .... my stomach still turns at the thought ... had hallucinations and thought I was going to astro project

Stroh 80 rum .... tastes like diesel and had a hangover for 2 days .... had flu like symtoms ... never learned my lesson and had it on several occasions .... am older now, and will rather have a stella if offered Stroh rum .... tastes like castor oil ... I don't see the point in drinking this stuff as it tastes vile

Yes, we have had those horror bottles of tequila in our lifetime as well, Penny .. :rolleyespink:

Has anyone had Bacardi 151 ? (that's 75%) .. pretty strong stuff as well .. but great in frozen daquiris. :love30:

Are you with us yet, Claire? Hope you are feeling okay ... :heehee:

I may have .... lost my memory on many occasions when I was younger

I do recall sniffing petrol from my motorbike petrol tank

My girlfriends's mothers always said that I was a bad influence on their children and warned them to stay away from me .... gladly, their children never listened to their mothers and we often 'played' in private

I had a traumatic childhood ... was always 'hyperactive'
