clocks changing this sat

      I'm not too bothered about the clocks going back, darker evenings yes, but the flip side of that is lighter mornings. :)

      If we stayed on summer time all year round as some people are suggesting, it would be dark until about 9am in mid winter. Don't fancy that.

      Having said that, like you Clara, I always feel as if we've turned a corner once the winter solstice has passed and the daylight hours begin to lengthen again. The bad news is that this year the solstice falls on the 22nd, so we've got to wait a day longer!

      Still, it's only 53 days away. Doesn't sound so bad when you say it like that does it?

        Victoria , got the wife knitting some gloves and scarves for you , they'll be with you end of the week. Can't have you suffering 19°c in the Algarve :D Feeling very jealous :D

          Always thought the Somerset Cheshire time zone was mid 1950's :D
