Something must have sparked both big time if first with only the internet there was attraction. Sounds like they became long distance friends first. Sometime its better to start as friends first. And did they both continue with their completion of their education etc.? All that takes tiime. Actually rushing to get married is not always a good thing. Taking your time to make sure is more important, divorice is hell. But are you ever sure, who knows.
    Wish them good blessings.

        Hi Redstar,

Yes, they did become friends first and their relationship blossomed from there. Surprisingly this is the longest relationship in our family before marriage. My family seem to marry after knowing each other a short time. I've been married nearly 38 years my other half proposed after six weeks into our relationship!

My son, if you look back at the picture has been told he looks young for his age. Yes their education is complete, he is 33 years old! :)

That is a good age for a man to marry, at 33 years old. Men stay like boys for such a long time. Watch there be a debate here with that sentence.
Anyway, in my experience, and I dated a lot between age 16 and 27, and
again 32 to 36: there are so many boys out there, and very few men.
Sorry guys, but that is truly how I saw it. I think it was in my generation, the mothers dotted on their boys more than the girls. So that the boys just moved from mom's house to wife's house. Today, lots of women with young children are working, I think the women today are "making" their boys be more accountable for chores around the house and other responsibilities than my generation of mothers.

As a matter of fact a Canadian I knew that was teaching English in Turin some 20 years ago was laughing so much at Italian men that go from mummy looking after them to wife looking after them!

There's a saying that men never grow up. That's true in quite a few cases! :)

Well chaps...........are you going to defend yourselves!

Not the picture you were expecting Kaz! but here's a start. Obviously it wiil take time for the pictures to drift through.

I apologise if the 're-arrangement' of the American flag offends anyone. I will also point out the reception had an optional fancy dress invite. :)
