Leave her alone, poor bitch - she's got Charlie and 'is missus as in-laws, her 'usband's disfunctional aunts and uncles to contend with and she has to spend every Christmas/Easter and heaven what else, with her 'usband's Grandmother. If she wore D+G or Chanel she'd be criticised for choosing 'foreign' designers; if she wore McQueen, MacDonald or Westwood she'd be accused of spending too much money and anything else is judged to be Primark or New Look.

I don't care what she wears - I hate her .... well not her per se, but I hate the fact she's got the figure that should have been mine!

I'm not sure I'm a gentleman :heehee: but I think you are being unkind to the handmaidens.

All females are lovely in their own way :love30:.

With regard to Kate - I thing she is quite attractive (just a little bit on the thin side for me but that is bound to change) and I can't see anything to criticise about her or what she is wearing.

Knocking celebrities, of any sort, seems a total waste of time to me - but who am I to judge as I'm only a man. :loll:

Give me thin over bingo-wing any day! I find it quite funny that we now live in a country where well over a third of the population is overweight (a quarter is classed as obese) and yet the trash press is full of shock-horror stories about skinny celebs etc. Kate lost some weight before her wedding (not really a surprise; I seem to remember that Diana went from chunky Sloane to wraith in the lead-up to hers) and I suspect she's kept it off because clothes look better on thin people. Eventually, most proud-to-be-fat celebrities hit the gym, the ryvitas and in some cases the gastric bands. On the whole they end up looking a great deal better.

I can't see anything wrong with Kate's posture, other than the usual problem tall people have when talking to lesser mortals: they're forced to stoop a little if they're to make eye contact. My son does exactly the same thing. Mind you, this is a nice problem to have, since he is the product of two short parents. Under such circumstances, to end up being 6'2" is something of an achievement. :)

Although I'm not at all interested in the clothes celebs wear, and didn't bother to watch the wedding, I went up to the Palace the other day to see The Dress. Not my ideal way of spending a day but I enjoyed all the rest of our day out with friends - and the Palace itself is worth the visit.

Having said I'm not interested in the dress, which didn't do anything for me, I enjoyed watching the video of the making of her outfit. An enormous amount of skill and effort went into it.

We also saw the royal Faberge collection which did even less for me than the dress did. :heehee:

Yes, Pippa was dangerously good looking bridesmaid. K Middy should have got Beatrice or Eugenie to do the job. :WINK1:

Leave the poor girl alone. To my untrained male eye, she looks good in pretty much anything, I'm sure William feels the same way.
                Saucer of milk, anyone?

Thankee! Can I point out that lots of people find the language and aesthetics of clothing absolutely fascinating - not least the Duchess herself, I would imagine. In her position she is bound to be the focus of discussion and comment, it is not all intended as a personal or uncharitable attack.

Without the photos, @LouisFerdinand, I wouldn’t have been able to say who the Duchess of Cambridge is.
