    Hi Michael,

Go into settings & you should find a withhold number option.

Be aware that even if your number is withheld, it won't be if you call the police, they can see it still.

To test if its worked for text sending. send yourself a txt to try it out.

As above or dial 141 on your mobile before the destination number.

Neither work for texting though. There's no direct way to withold a number when texting. The only way you can send an anonymous message is to use a free online service and when prompted to inout your number just type some gobbledegook*

Ziggy, somewhere in my loft I have a little box with foreign currency I used to collect about 60 years ago.

I have some 'ten million mark' notes in there and must have paid 3d for them.

I had a 50,000 mark note once but I sold it to buy drugs:(

                Think it was from 1921?

Even in 1921 that wouldn't have got you much more than an aspirin :heehee: (first available without prescription in 1915).

my grandfather was a carpenter in Greece and most of the furniture that was in his home was made by himself

several years ago, he passed away ....

several years later, my aunt decided to re-decorate the farm house and the kitchen table etc was removed and placed outside while they laid new flooring

the kitchen table was placed upside down on the paving, as she decided to oil the whole table .... she saw a button on the underside, depressed it and a secret drawer popped open .... full of old Greek drachmas (loads of it)

anyway, this is where my grandfather used to stash away his cash (secretly)

he died suddenly, and never told anyone about the money

sad thing is that my aunt could not exchange the cash for euros at any bank in Greece

so, she sent all the cash to me (which I still have) .... banks in the UK are not interested in exchanging it, and the only way to exchange it, is to sell it to people who collect old money

sadly, the notes are not 'crisp' and are not in good/excellent condition, so money collectors will not pay much ...

                    :(
