can you recognize a flower from a bulb?

 

You could know which bulbs where ie. a Tulip or a Crocus for example but beyond that no ..

Agreed If you had crocus, tulips and daff bulbs you could tell those apart. But some of the smaller ones are a bit harder. For example I bought some honey lily bulbs at the weekend, and they look just like any other allium bulb.

 

I can tell the basics - daffs, tulips, crocus, lilies etc. but wouldn't have a clue as to what colour or type of daff, tulip etc. they were.

 

Have you dug up something you shouldn't have Mira?
