I've actually only just realised I have a routine part of the day and that it included the illustrious Gardeners Corner:)

Mine is to wake up at 0630, potter and faff about a bit while I wait for the bathroom to be free, boot up the pc and skim the misery that is the news, maybe sort an order of business for the day and then make brekkie (scrambled eggs and black coffee this morning!). Then I can sit and relax in front of GC and read while pondering the rest of the morning.

I find it really sets me up for the day - so what's your routine for GC?

EDIT: I should probably point out that I'm working from the home office at the moment!

i usually have a cuppa, turn on laptop, sort out cats, check whats happening here, and then pop back and for whilst pottering in the house before work, its usually the first thing i do when i get in from shifts too while having a cuppa ( just realised i am an addict to GC )

if there a support group for this addiction ?:loll:

Normally last thing at night for me or whenever a burning question enters my head. After posting a question then I check fervently for responses until another pressing question arises.

But today I am on the train so thought I would drop in to see what's new.

Normally have a mooch on my phone throughout the day, then have a proper look on my lunch...and then every so often in the evening on my phone....and normally properly just before bed.....

Weekends I don't tend to come on here as I'm normally too busy in the garden :heehee: but gives me plenty of thoughts for GC for the following week :D

Get up about 6ish, go into office and turn on laptop, then go straight downstairs and let cats out, come back up to office and go to my 2 favourite gardening forums for about half an hour :D
The first things i do on them is say "good morning", go to the games section (on here), then i look through the various threads :D
After my forum 'fix' i carry on with my day and look in here properly again early evening :D

I wake up every morning at 04h45 (even in winter)

have a cigarette .... fire up the old dinosaur (my old pc)

make a proper cup of coffee (with Illy expresso) and one of these:

check the weather for cambridge on here:
              Digital Technology Group - Cambridge Weather - 12.7 C

check 2 conspiracy sites for the latest breaking news

              check my hotmail

              check GC

then check 2 more gardening forums

then it's time for a shower and then sort breakfast for the wife and kids .... then wake them up ... have breakfast whilst surfing the internet

then off to pull weeds or mow lawns or do some sort of gardening

evenings after work/gym, I sit in front of the pc, (which is on a small table in the lounge next to the tv) ... I try and relax and wife nags about something or other (non stop)

sad .... it's my routine for 7 days a week even in winter

Wake up in a cold sweat about 3am. Slight panic until I realise that i'm not Elaine Paige and it must have been just a dream.

Roll a cigarette & open Caravan window, watch the hedgepig for a few minutes, go back to sleep.

Wake up at more sensible time, cup of tea, smoke & toast, log on, check emails.

Go to GC, check who's birthday it is, discover how many posts I made the night before that I have to report myself for:DOH:

Compose an e mail to a particular world leader to tell them how to get out of whatever crisis they have put their country in this time.

Print some Pesetas, Drachmas and a few Puffins, just to be on the safe side.

Brush my teeth then off to work at the Abbatoir again:DOH:

I try not to get addicted to GC or let it tie me to the computer too much, but I am, and it does:D:what::DOH::heehee:

I'm usually too busy in the early morning to get around to having a look at what's going on GC although the temptation is always there.:heehee: So I try to aim for firing up the computer at around noon for a couple of hours and then any time in the early evening until around 1a.m.
But I've just recently come out of retirement for the next 18 months on a 3 day week so that's upset my routine, although I do have access to the Internet at work so I can still sneak a look or two, to satisfy my addiction:D:coffee:

Until this week I rarely used my computer during the day and dealt with most of my 'stuff' emails etc. before settling down with GC in the evenings.

I think it was last week, I posted a thread on GC containing three pictures. I decided to do some research and this week those pictures have 'exploded' and I have e-mails coming out of my ears! Why! I decided to try and trace information and the whereabouts of the model yachts my dad built and sailed back in the '60's and early '70's. I now find my dad's talents went further afield than I first thought and I will have to start cataloguing (did I spell that right) it all!

So if I'm missing from GC, you know what I'm up to! :)
