Simbad. No, like many Salvias, leucantha is not hardy. Its a lovely one - it looks and feels like velvet. Christopher Lloyd said in one of his books that this was the Salvia that he most drooled over. Unfortunately, its not warm enough for it to even set seed in this country, though the plant itself will take a few degrees of frost.

Brugmansia is still going strong - now inside the house. Fills the house with a wonderful fragrance in the evening.

I had to show you this as well. I took the Brugmansia cutting, front left, on 19 September. In less than two months, it has rooted and is already growing a tiny flower pod, which you can just see. The cutting behind, which was taken earlier in September, already has a quite well developed flower pod.

                That Salvia leucantha is outstanding!

Passiflora antioquensis was still blooming up until last weekend in Sues garden......

I can't believe how plants are hanging on to their flowers or even producing even more. This is a very confusing year, what with some Spring flowering plants trying to do just that right now.:D

It was the passiflora and your bat plant avatar that did it:D.
