How on earth do you keep up with all your Hemorcallis!

I have a Lobelia laxiflora here with your name on coming along nicely.
From seed that have just been sown, I hope to have Lobelia polyphylla, excelsor and valida to share, plus Tricyrtis latifolia.
Plantaholic just sent me a huge selection of seeds and cuttings, too much to mention!
Delonix has just harvested some Bauhinia and Heliconia seeds for me too.

All the Salvia that you sent me are coming along nicely.

Then there are the climbers that I've been growing along this year that should bloom next year - Bomearea hirtella and Vigna caracalla, although the Lapageria rosa will be a year or two more yet.

Oh wow thanks longk:happydance:look forward to that, I have lots of little plants of Jasione Blue Lights and my first seedlings sprouting of Phytolacca, one of those huge perennials I love, after seeing pictures of Shineys on here I had to search it out:D.
Well some lovely seeds there had to google them all as never heard of any of them:rolleyespink:,where do you keep all these exotics in the winter?.
I have some lovely seeds to try sent to me by PeterS on here :D.
Glad the salvia are doing well.
The daylily collections at 163 named varieties now plus over 20 unamed and 5 on order for spring:rolleyespink:, I do know where they all are though have a numbered plan, have copper labels too but the flippin magpies love shiney things so pull them all out.

Louise D - Mean by name, yet sharing by nature!
Google Lotus (or Dorycnium) hirsutus. This may be of interest to you. I've promised Spritz on of my Lobelia laxiflora come spring and could pop that in with her plant/s (you are near to her as I recall....).

      Simbad;
"where do you keep all these exotics in the winter?."
That is becoming a bit of an issue! A mix of conservatory, spare bedroom, garage and stair cupboard (tender bulbs and tubers).
As far as the thieving Magpies go, copper is a good conductor of electricity!!!

Blooming in the conservatory now, this was a cutting that I took from a branch that the wind snapped (June or July I think).
They really need a better summer than we had this year, but a few blooms is better than none![IMG][/IMG]

Thanks Louise - would you believe that the mother plant cost me 99pence from a WI plant sale last spring!
It was just a small cutting with no flowers, but I liked the foliage. Couldn't believe my luck when I googled it!
