Good morning everyone, yes there should be and is ,I am on my 10th afterlife and I am still learning every day and meeting lots of lovely people and experiencing many new things, lots of Sun Rises and Sunsets:WINK1:This is my first time of being part of a virtual gardening Forum due to that technology has only just arrived.Every afterlife has,nt always been pleasant, this one has been challenging to put it mildly :rolleyespink: ,But on reflection I will take what ever form they come in,trying to stay positive, practising wearing that smile, and hoping eventually they will become permanent parts of my character, after all a happy frame of mind does,nt cost me anything in Euro,s or Pounds:WINK1:Have a great day:dbgrtmb::sunny:

This deep thinking person, is still deep thinking about this! Weighing up the various questions it has posed in this small brain of mine. Getting there though!

Just had a hard life and knock backs Grumps
If I found 10p on the street you can bet I lost my wallet bending down to pick up the 10p
I sold my mums house for 90k three months before the prices rocketed and the buyer sold it for 120k
I invested ALL the money I made on Mums house on the stock market Six months before 9/11
I served in the RN for 22 years on pennies per week (3600 py) the year after I left it was decried that the wage should be £11k it is now £35k

I bought my home when it was 20% deposit and 15% interest it is now 100% loan and 5% or less

I got a great deal on Horse Manure today a ton for a quid
When I got home the bags had split in the boot of the car :-):yess:

So I expect to be shafted when I retire, it is just normal for me:yay:

Sorry Jack, but they've recently announced the average life is 85 for a bloke.

It looks like your going to have to suffer 20 years of forced labour out on the plot.!
Unless the survey is a lot of "what got dumpedin the boot", you'll have to try to enjoy the garden a bit longer.
No afterlife for you for a while - sorry!:wallbang:

Ziggy, I'm still deep thinking on this one. :)

Question.......should there be an afterlife? I've thought about this from a different angle.......is there an afterlife? I've got different answers to these questions buzzing in my head.

If there is an afterlife, then that poses questions about reincarnation, ghostly encounters and seances. But if we answer yes to.....is there an afterlife? It doesn't mean there should be one.

                    Now that's confused everyone! :heehee:

Well, you're not helping this doubter, Sheal!:D:heehee: It was such a simple question!!, and now you've got us all standing at the entrance to a maze!!:D:heehee:

Shiney, your "sympathetic" post to Jack sounds like that good old saying "It could have been worse, it could have been me!":D:heehee:

Sorry Armandii! :) Perhaps Ziggy should poll both questions, at least I will find it easier to answer then. :heehee:

Sorry Sheal, all I was trying to establish here was if we, as a sentient race, think that the sum of our knowledge deserves to go on. And not perish with the flesh.

This could be possible with the advent of the net or the next generation of chip tech stuff. Imagine being able to upload the entire sum of your brain, not just what you have learned, but all the emotions and experiences.

Would that not make you immortal?

Stop trying to be something you are not. If you have something to say then do so in plain English. Not in Gibberish.:dbgrtmb:
