round bed versus traditional shaped beds

Do you see any advantages in having a round bed?

 

Only if you are SERIOUSLY fat........... same shape as the bed.........

 

could be good if you like having people 'a round'

but jokes aside .... what do you do for sheets and duvets etc .... I've never seen round ones?

I thought this was about flower beds, and was about to launch into island beds versus crisp, formal herbaceous borders ... until I got to the bit about duvets.

Nice to see you back. How is the training going?

 

I do vaguely remember doing something a school which 'proved' that, a circle in a square results in less wastage of space than a square in a circle. What you have here is a classic case of a round peg (bed) in a square hole (room) since most rooms are based roughly on a square or rectangular design so - unless you live in a converted martello tower or oast house, I'd say it's better to partially fill a square room with a round bed than to ....... sleep on the floor!

 

A revolving round bed might be fun.

 

Surely that would depend on the diameter of the bed.

 

You could be your own Vitruvian man/ woman.
