    Hello Everyone.
Just thought I'd better introduce myself. I'm a novice gardener with a small garden and polytunnel in the Fenlands of East Anglia. Had one season of setting everything up (and growing far, far too many chillies in the tunnel) and had a small harvest this year.
I'm trying to get into veg growing in a fairly serious way and see if I can't get the food bills down and become more self sufficient and so will probably be asking lots of stupid questions like "are tomatoes supposed to be that red colour".
And the name "Littledragon"... because I love hot chillies :-)

the fenland black soil is cheap as chips .... I recently sowed lawn seed at a new build home in Manea ...

the builders ordered several tons of the fenland black soil and spread a thick layer around the site

I'm not sure where they bought it, but I heard that it is possibly carrot washings (the soil that is washed off carrots)?

I had weeds that were 4-5 feet tall ... sprayed weedkiller and sowed the seed a few weeks ago

went there on sunday (yesterday) and lawn looks lovely (needs a cut, but will wait till spring as the roots still need to develop)
