about potatoes

    I am digging the garden and gathering all my weeds with roots and a little soil attached to them in a big box . If I plant a potato spud in there, in spite of the soil being only little, do you reckon it will grow and produce?

    No sorry .

    1 its very late to do
    2 if you did do all the rotting green waste may effect the growing tubers
    3 probably full of creepy crawlies


    But please prove me wrong

    I see your point, the crawlies would probably eat the potatoes before I get to them...

      No! Sorry miraflores but the first frost will kill the plant, plus daylengths are against you even if you brought it inside.
