Chilly, chilly, chilly in East Devon. First frost last night and looks like the same again tonight. All you Northeners going on about how 'grim it is up North', us Southerners get it and all you know!! :sunny:

Should bring on the garlics nicely :D

Still mild up here so far. Might be chilly away from the coast mind, the sea acts like a great big storage heater to keep the worst of the chill away.

I've never said it is grim, getting chilly which i'd expect this time of year, but not grim at all, quite sunny this afternoon and don't need gloves or a scarf yet, which is good for time of year.

No frost in Zummerset yet although the windows had heavy condensation this morn.

Reached 40c in the solar panels today.

Well, we didn't get any frost here in West Cheshire although it was forecast. I'm not complaining:D:heehee:

I don't mind the frost! It's been raining here almost continuously for the last 2 1/2 months and I'm developing webbed feet. :)

                Hi Mr Morgan

I'm pleased to let you know that, in "Up North" Northumberland (well my bit anyway) there's no Frost predicted until 7th December.
Pleasant blue sky and sun today - OK only 10C-ish but last year we had Snow by now, so its great.
We had a slight Frost on Monday, but I don't think it was sub zero.:sunny:

We came as close as it gets to our first 'proper' frost; in my eyes it wasn't quite there, we had a touch of ice on top of the compost bins and guinea pig hutches but nothing on the ground, the grass was just wet.....

As a migratory Northener forced to find work 'down south' I know that it's not 'grim' up North and that we seem to get more than our fair share of rain down here (although I haven't developed webbed feet....yet!?!)

I love British weather so throwing in a cheeky little frost in November well it just keeps you on your toes, doesn't it! :rolleyespink:

My kids were swimming in the sea at Branscombe mid-October so I can live with a bit of frost :loll:

Oh No, Mr M, the UK weather should be around 75f, sunny, blue skies every day, and then at night be around 65f and rain between 1am and 5am.:love30::D

I misread that as a touch of ice on the guinea pigs:(
