Primates- ring tailed or otherwise- have nothing to fear from me. Unless they taste good.

I took my Chicken round my Sisters' with a view to her Chicken sitting it for the week. She took one look at the Cockerell there & went straight over & decked it.

Her way of getting to come on holiday with me I suppose.

      Your sister decked a chicken?

"Spits Dandelion Coffee all over keyboard":D:D:D

No, my chicken decked the cockerell.

That makes better sense, but I swear I had to go stand outside.

Its been 2 hrs but every time I think of your sister punching a chicken I lose it.

I was like wtf?! "Who punches chickens?"

was someone's 'exotic pet' .... they got tired of trying to source 'exotic' food so 'dumped it'

thats why there are sightings of large cat like creatures roaming the forests in the UK .... in the 70's and 80's it was 'hip' to own these animals, and after a few months, the owners let them loose as it was too expensive and too much hassle to feed them

I spent 2 years in the army in south africa, of which I spent 16 months on the namibian/angolan border .... decided to get a small monkey type creature as a pet ....these are called nag appies (night monkeys) .... paid a hefty price for one from one of the locals

after 2 months of running around at night like an idiot with a torch, trying to catch moths under street lights, and a few tetanus injections for nasty bites, I too let him free

          not worth the hassle

we will soon see many exotic large lizards roaming gardens .... this seems to be the latest craze with pet collectors

I didn't know chicken abuse was a local custom in Tooting.

you'd more likely see dead exotic large lizards in gardens:mad: they can't take much of the cold or wet:cry3:

we've always had a problem with people dumping turtles and terrapins in ponds which got really bad in the 90's

              Two guesses why:WINK1:

not forgetting the infamous alligator snapping turtles which can take down adult swans and geese:OUCH: BBC News - Angler pulls in four-stone turtle at Solihull reservoir

There is a Terrorpin in our local pond, and no fish left in there now.
