hi, try and upload a picture to your album, I can't can you?

(I get a message saying its too big, even though I have not selected a picture to upload)

 

Nor me! I just get 'upload failed'

 

Yeah, I also get a message saying my picture is too big to upload.

Funny as I didn't even select a pic.

 

Is anybody else now seeing this label attached to the top of some photos?

'This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 480x640 and weights 136KB.'

I've been getting it for about a week or so now. It's appearing on some photos but not on others.
It's quite distracting and does detract from the photo itself.

 

That's exactly what happens to me

 

Any news on the album front? I still can not up load any pictures.

 

Created new album, still get same message

"This picture exceeds your total album file size quota by 1.12 MB."

Even though no picture was selected

 

Just created an album, I have no photo's uploaded here and here is the info given to me.

Picture Limits
Pictures Remaining 60
Space Remaining 524 Bytes
Maximum File Size per Picture 1.95 MB
Maximum Picture Dimensions 600 by 600 Pixels

Looking at the space remaining of 524 Bytes and the max picture size of 1.95MB, I would need 2,044,723.2 Bytes to upload one picture at max size. It's the space remaining that's the problem in this scenario, whether or not it's the same for everyone else I do not know.

A standard 600 x 600 pixel photo at reasonable resolution, saved, would be around 100kb, that would require 102400 bytes, that's 195 times the space I have available and I have uploaded nothing at all (according to my profile).
