Spruce was just going to say Winchester Cathedral, great minds :D,my favourite too, David Austin does have some beautiful roses, here are a couple of pictures of mine Rusty, the first shows what it usually looks like but this year seems to have been a good year for the roses and it was smothered in flowers, still has the odd flower now.

My mother's got a Sander's White. Vigorous rambler style rose, smallish double white flowers borne profusely, fantastic show in May/June, very fragrant.

I haven't grown this rose myself, but everyone I know who has bought the newish David Austin rose, 'Claire Austin', has been delighted with it. As you can see, the flowers have a beautiful shape, and the smell is supposed to be absolutely wonderful - stronger than 'Winchester Cathedral'. You can buy a bush or a climbing version.

Very fragrant rose is Margaret Merril (Harkness), but the flowers are not very durable.
