    Hi,
I'm looking for a green-flowering annual (must be annual or herbaceous perennial to grow as an annual) for a color-bedding. Possibly hardy or a good performer plant, to sow in the Isle of Wight.
Somebody could give me some suggestion?
    Thanks,
    G.

Difficult to find Euphorbias (I love them) to grow as annual.
I think they are more perennial plants...

    Thanks Dave,
Nicotiana is already in the list! It's a lovely plant indeed.
    Any other suggestion?
I have Bells of Ireland (Molucella laevis) and some (but enough) sedges at the moment...

There are many Euphorbia's which if sown in January/February will flower in mid to late summer:thumbsup:

      You're right Aesculus.
I've find out some beautiful annual Euphorbias:

      E. marginata "Summer Icicle" (45cm)
      E. stricta (syn. E. serrulata)
      E. graminea "Diamond Frost" (45cm, white flowers)
      E. oblungata (45cm, quite nice to me)

I'm just wondering how much they are quick to grow by seeds.
I need to sow in late Jan/ begging Feb and also to have good performers for summer-time.
