So when did this war between Lancashire & Yorkshire end again?

Let me think back to school history......

Could be wrong, but I think it was August 22nd 1485[IMG]

Time to let it go now Harry & Robert?:D

As far as I know, the war between Yorkshire and lancashire is still alive and kicking:)

There was some fallout just a few years ago when some bus company or something in one of the counties adopted a new logo that looked very similar to the rose of the other county.

When I lived and worked in Sheffield, one of the lads used to regularly remark "there's only one good thing in Lancashire, the A57 Eastbound carriageway".

I think its simmered down a bit recently to mostly healthy and harmless banter, but its always there:heehee:

Just like Chard and Crewkerne then, civil war was only 400 years ago, still fresh.

Drat ! it was the battle of Bosworth field August the 22nd 1485 according to Wikepedia which also said "Decisive Lancastrian victory" .:yess: It was actually very little to do with the two counties , but was warring factions of the Plantagenets . Henry Tudor emerged the winner who was Welsh , it all gets a tad complicated for this time of night.
