I've been 'eyeing' one of these Cobb BBQ's at lakeland for a while now... they get good reviews .... A south african product .... My son says he has one and even BBQ's on the dining table when he has guests ....

Cobb® Barbecue Cooking System in barbecues at the home of creative kitchenware, Lakeland

a must have if you are into camping caravaning or fishermen ....(there is nothing better than having a BBQ with a fresh caught fish on the beach)

The ink might fade, but if it's summat for which you may want to keep the receipt (and I'm that sad that I have a box file into which go all the 'I might need that' receipts and instruction books) - then either just photocopy the receipt, or take a photo of the item with the receipt. Simples! :heehee:

I took Mrs Scrungee to Lakeland today and bought her:

Two more sets of 3 each of these 3 Large Lakeland VacuPots in food containers at the home of creative kitchenware, Lakeland, reduced from £14.99 to £5.99 - got some already and they work really well, especially with dehydrated goodies + dried herbs in the small ones.

An apple pie mould Pocket Pie Apple Mould in cake & jelly moulds at the home of creative kitchenware, Lakeland reduced from £5.99 to £1.99 - got similar pasty cutter/moulds that produce excellent results, and Mrs Scrungee does make an exceedingly good apple pie

Some silicon chocolate moulds for producing home made chocolates (cheap presents) with added foraged nuts and candied fruit, reduced from £4.99 to £1.99 (still not as cheap as the ones in the Pound Shop).

Then she let me go on a tour of the local garden centres.

Although the Lakeland sale has finished but this seemed as good a place as any to mention that online orders at Lakeland can now be collected instore using their new 'click & collect' service.

The significance of that is being able to use all the online discount codes, many of which are for below the free delivery threshold and sometimes there's 2 or more that can be used in conjunction with one another, plus any personal money off codes on vouchers sent through the post and then picking up instore, so the best of everything.

For example, the present minimum spend for free delivery is £30.00 (it varies), but using online code EK11 will get £5 off a £25 spend and you can collect instore. How many times have you been tempted to add £5 of additional full price items to your cart just to get £5 off?

Then you will never get something for nothing that way, or perhaps even less if canny.

You never get anything for nothing. But I am better off because I never spent the money in the first place.
