Me and my girlfriend were given a lovely holly plant for Christmas by my mum.

I'm just trying to decide where it would best go in the garden.

None - people in my family really know how to please me :(

But really, I was given some money so I'll put it towards a plant of some kind!

Was yours a red berried or white berried (or even yellow berried Holly) - I've started seeing a lot of variable coloured berries this year, which I don't recall seeing before!

What a good present-giver that person was, an excellent gift if ever i heard one.

I wasn't given any plants for xmas but i was given a gift of a very generous amount in a gift voucher, so i'm going to have a very merry time with that :dbgrtmb: :dancy: :happydance:

I too got a load of gift vouchers.

A member of another forum sent me seeds for Heliconia schiedeana, Bauhinia (punctata, variegata, and corymbosa) and Markhamia lutea out of the blue!

No plants but various useful bits of gardening kit instead.

Hi, my wife kept asking me if there were any plants I fancied for Christmas. But travelling around our local garden centres I just couldn't make my mind up ! Sometimes the high price of some plants made my mind up for me !
