      A great big apology to everyone :love30: :love30: :love30: :cry3: :cry3:

Marley must have put up this post whilst I was preparing No. 3 and I missed it :o

      Well done, Marley :dbgrtmb:

As Marley says, Waimea Canyon is a wonderful place and I would recommend it to anyone . The colours are fascinating and the atmosphere great. Kauai island is my favourite of all the Hawaiian islands. It's very pretty and peaceful. They've used it for making over 50 films, including good beach films such as South Pacific and Donovan's Reef and films such as Jurrasic Park, Pirates of the Caribbean and Avatar.

Here's a link for film buffs:- Movies Filmed in Kauai, Hawaii

If you ever have the chance to go to Hawaii and visit more than one island I would suggest most time on Big Island which has lots of places of interest to see as well as relax and then follow it with a visit to Kauai. (This is purely a subjective opinion but I did write a guide to the islands - out of print now)

Before anyone criticises me for having taken wonky photos :D, the gardens are on a slope.
