I had my first driving lessons in one of those (estate version) it was a column gear change. I'd still prefer to have a column change even now.

I can still remember it's registration number as well!

 

The more I look at that pic, the more I get to thinking that you might be Jeremy clarkson

 

Sheal that was my first car after passing my test,had the luxery of a webasto sun roof........the roof later cracked at the corners from driving to fast with the roof open

 

Ziggy, in the second picture I think Howard looks like the lead singer of the Hollies, but his name escapes me at mo.

Lots of folk in the sixties did mistake me for Allen Clarke of the Hollies,and once at a Hollies concert just before it started was asked for my autograph
