Hi Dave, I like to grow a variety of early, mid season and late ones.

    I used to grow -
    Peer Gynt - Sept -Nov
    Brigitte - Oct - Dec
    Trafalgar - Dec - Feb
In 2011 I lifted the last Trafalgar plants on 7th April and they were still producing but I needed to clear the bed.

But last year I grew -
    Franklin F1 - 1st early
    Agincourt F1 - Late
    Trafalgar F1 - Late

Dave that could be caused by loose soil. They need to be firmly trodden in especially if the soil has been recently dug

I grew Crispus F1 and I've had a few decent sprouts which I thought were quite strong (and I love sprouts) but most were ruined by whitefly!!

Just to confirm that I won't be growing Crispus F1 again! Tried to eat the last decent few and they were so horrible!
Also a friend who also grew them has said the same..
