    I was sitting the other night having a wee chin wag with one of my younger Grandchildren.
    She asked me several questions (as granddaughters do) about where I worked before I retired, and what I worked at before that job etc etc etc etc:help:.
    After she went home (and my ears had stopped burning),I got to thinking,just how many full time jobs I had had since leaving school ,at 15yrs (before the wheel was invented):WINK1:.

    (1) Van Delivery Boy.>> Furniture Warehouse.
    (2) Merchant Navy . >> Deck Boy to Efficient Deck Hand.
    (3) Bespoke Tailor . >> Salesman and Displaying Gents Clothing.
    (4) Floor Walker . >> Woolworth,s Security.
    (5) Storeman . >> Wholesale Warehouse, Supplying Shops and the Barras.
    (6) Traveller . >> Credit Warehouse( Shilling a week man collecting at doors).
    (7) Fireman. >> Railway Fireman ( Coal Shifter ).
    (8) Lab Technician. >> Quality Control (Fibreglass).
    (9) Lab Technician . > > Plastics and Chemical Colourist.
    (10) Social Club. > > Social Club Coordinator(Weddings,Funerals,Conferences,Bingo.
    (11) Mcdonalds . > > (Handyman and I made Great French Fries):WINK1:.
    (12) Travel Inn. > > Handyman,Barman, Jack of All.(Loved Cleaning The Beer Pipes).
    (13) Storeman. > > Chemical Industry(Retired Here For Four Weeks. After A Phone Call I Returned On 6 Monthly contract, To be reassessed every six months. that lasted 2 years then I Retired again :yess:.

    (14) Grandad.>>>>>> Watching Grandchildren,doing 3 Daughters Gardens,Decorating Etc Etc Etc. AND IT'S THE HARDEST JOB I HAVE EVER HAD .:gaagh:.:D:D.
    And Unpaid In Cash, But Paid In Happiness.:dancy:.

    Have You Had Many Jobs And What Jobs Did You Have?????.

      That's quite an impressive CV Music, you're obviously very versatile! :dbgrtmb:
      Of all those jobs you've done, which would you say was the most satisfying and rewarding?....
      ....and which was the worst?

      grew up in a corning shop so worked there through my childhood
      first payed job in a local chip shop
      waitressed in a chinese restaurant
      started helping in kitchen was good at it so stayed in there
      worked in another restuarant
      whilst in the above jobs also worked in tesco's as a cleaner and
      in poundstretchers
      bought my own restaurant
      then qualified to work as carer for difabled children and adults which i still do

      i am lucky that i have never been out of work :dbgrtmb:

        Hi Trunky. Satisfying and Rewarding (Not Monetary) was A Railway Fireman On The Old Steam Engines. Rewarding in the sense of getting a steam engine ,that was not a good steamer ,to Steam and complete the Journey in time, that was Satisfaction and Rewarding:dbgrtmb:. .

        The Worst was A Floor walker. I could not bring myself to report some poor looking old biddy
        for nicking something small from the counter. I could not report kids for nicking a couple of sweets from the counters. I would walk to the door and tell the culprits on their way out,
        NEXT TIME,ITS THE POLICE. Hated that job.
