So it seems now that if we consume 50gm processed meat (equivalent to 2 rashers of bacon or one small sausage) our risk of pancreatic cancer increases by 19%. Make it 100gms and it's a 38% increase, 150mgs and it shoots up to 57%.

Shame - is nothing sacred! :cry3: I shall now have a bacon sarnie for lunch!

Actually, an 'expert' in ITV news has just explained it this way ....

If you take 300 people who never eat bacon or sausages, about 3 of them will get pancreatic cancer
If you take 300 people who eat bacon and/or sausages every day, 5 of them will get pancreatic cancer

        That's better! [IMG]

It's a proven fact that if you eat potatoes you will die! Probably too many carbos.

I love potatoes, however they arrive in front of me ... jackets, roast, new with butter and mint, boiled, mashed with cheese and onions, sauteed, chips ... which have I missed ... :rolleyespink:

I guess my days are numbered ... :heehee:

I always remember what my grandad told me . He said Harry if you don't smoke , don't drink and don't go with women you will not actually live any longer. It just feels like it ! :D
