My OH designed and built these out of old pallets.
We introduced a small flock of doves which we netted in for several weeks.
They settled in fine and bred loads more. The problem then is that they will breed with pigeons and degrade the flock leaving you with mixed colours and shapes. It is recommended that you cull any like this.
We didn't have any problems with cats etc... but we might just have been lucky.

We left ours with the house when we moved as the new owners wanted to keep it.

Thanks for this he done a wonderful job with pallets and it looks lovely , and with doves sitting outside , I know it sounds mad but I have a office building at the bottom of the road and about 10 doves have taken it over I would love to get my hands on them lots of people have comented and you never see a street pigeon with them and the town centre is not that far away full of them

                Thanks again

I would kill for one, i did quite a bit of research into them and found that they are avery very expensive item.
This is the cheapest i've found - it's not expensive compared to all the others i've found but still more than i want to spend at the moment !

                    Really, i'm surprised !

I like the smaller ones, the tall, wide ones don't appeal at all, the smaller the better - almost ornamental, infact !
