Having tried tunnel cloches covered in green mesh, I found cabbages didn't get enough light, and of course they weren't tall enough for Brussels, broccoli. I have seen some do-it-yourself tunnels made with hoops of tubing covered with fleece of some kind-does anyone have information about where I could buy the fleece/mesh, as my husband says he has some tubing left over from plumbing
Seems the best solution will be to completely wire in the garden with chicken wire, a big job, and then the pigeons will return omg

So as well as pigeon pie and rabbit stew, I really would like to eat my own cabbages!

    Any advice appreciated,thank you

You want environmesh - Agralan Enviromesh, Insect Netting

But I grew cabbages and sprouts and caulis under green mesh last year..no problem and it stopped the cabbage whites getting at them. I used 3 metre wide scaffolders green debris netting for the following.

    Cauliflowers
